Mohegan Sun Golf Club sits in the wooded countryside of Baltic, Connecticut, approximately ten miles north of the Mohegan Sun casino resort that shares its name. Designed by Geoffrey Cornish and opened in the late 1990s, the course was developed as part of the Mohegan Tribe's broader expansion of recreational amenities. Cornish, a prolific New England architect whose career spanned much of the twentieth century, brought his characteristic straightforward design approach to the property, working with the region's natural rolling terrain and mature tree cover.
