GRANITE LINKS GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Quincy, MA, USA
Designed by John Sanford

Granite Links isn't just built on quarries; it's a monument to the ambition of turning exposed rock into rolling fairways that command Boston's skyline. Its modern design on reclaimed land presents a robust test, with prevailing winds amplifying the challenge on open, undulating terrain near Quincy. The ambitious routing rewards aggressive play off the tee, but wayward shots are penalized severely by fescue rough and strategically placed hazards.
Architects Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry carved three distinct nine-hole courses – Granite, Milton, and Quincy – from the former quarry site. While each offers sweeping views of the Boston skyline, the Quincy and Milton nines are particularly favored for their blend of risk-reward holes and demanding par-4s. Don't be surprised if you see more than a few players going for the green in two on par 5s here, trying to cut the corner on the dog legs.
Granite Links has quickly become a popular destination among local Bostonians. Its bustling clubhouse is a popular spot to enjoy a round of golf and a few drinks, the energy and camaraderie of the club makes Granite Links a course that is hard to ignore.
Reviews
Fantastic public course. Perfect fairways and fast greens. Course has exceptional views and a good restaurant. Pro shop is well stocked but pricier than most. Great practice area with trackman stations. Matt range is the only small negative I would say about this place. Overall great course and worth every penny.
