MILL RUN GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Uxbridge, Ontario, USA

Mill Run Golf Club, a mainstay of Uxbridge golf, offers a challenging, player-friendly experience carved from the rolling landscape north of Toronto. The original design, dating back to the early 2000's, presents a modern parkland layout that encourages aggressive play without sacrificing strategic nuance. The course meanders through mature trees and over subtly contoured terrain, offering a diverse array of challenges.
Mill Run favors those who can shape the ball off the tee, demanding smart decisions and accurate iron play into well-guarded greens. The fairways are generous, but straying too far offline will find you contending with mature trees and strategically placed bunkers. Water hazards come into play on several holes, adding to the strategic challenge.
While Mill Run hasn't hosted major professional championships, it serves as a respected test for local amateurs and a popular destination for corporate events. The club fosters a welcoming atmosphere, particularly for its membership, known for their relaxed approach to the game - and the ever-present friendly competition between them. Many members relish the club's reputation as a place where a good round is always followed by a great story.
Reviews
The original 18 is a solid, fun course. The newest 9, the grind, is barely even golf, architect was on one when he designed it. Only good hole on this 9 is the second which used to be the original 2nd hole. Conditions aren’t as good as they used to be, hope they can be turned around.
