NESHANIC VALLEY GOLF COURSE
🇺🇸 Neshanic Station, NJ, USA
Designed by Dana Fry, Dr. Michael Hurdzan

Meadow at Neshanic Valley, nestled in the rolling hills of central New Jersey, offers a distinct golfing experience shaped by its modern design and challenging layout. Opened in 2003, the course forgoes any sense of stuffiness and tradition, instead embracing a welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all abilities.
Designed by Steve Smyers and Patrick Stimmel, Meadow is characterized by its open fairways, undulating greens, and strategically placed bunkers. The terrain favors a strategic approach, rewarding players who can navigate the course’s subtle complexities with well-placed tee shots and thoughtful club selection. This is not a course for the faint of heart, as wayward drives are severely punished by the thick native grasses that line each fairway. Expect forced carries, particularly from the back tees.
While Meadow at Neshanic Valley hasn't hosted any major championships, it remains a respected public golf facility within the region. Its accessibility and enjoyable layout make it a popular choice for local golfers seeking a challenging yet fair test of their skills. Moreover, the clubhouse is locally renowned for its excellent pub fare, especially its hearty chili – a perfect reward after a long day on the links.
