PENINSULA GOLF & RACQUET CLUB
🇺🇸 Gulf Shores, AL, USA
Designed by Earl Stone

The Marsh at Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club represents the ambition of golf course design at the turn of the millennium, aimed at crafting both challenge and playability for a growing game. Carved from the wetlands of Gulf Shores, Alabama, this relatively modern course navigates the region's unique coastal terrain. Wide fairways invite aggressive tee shots, but errant approaches find the water hazards that define the course's character, favoring those who can play a controlled fade.
Earl Stone, known for designing courses accessible to a broad range of skill levels, originally crafted the layout, and it has seen ongoing refinements since. The Marsh is more of a popular destination for local play and regional tournaments than a nationally recognized championship venue, and caters to the community and vacationers alike.
The Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club is known locally for its welcoming atmosphere and active membership. It's a place where players come to enjoy the game in a relaxed setting, followed by post-round gatherings at the clubhouse.
Reviews
Best course in Coastal Alabama bar none and must stop to play. Marsh is a fun course thats not too challenging but will still manage to test the golfer in you. Beautiful scenery through the hundred year old live oaks.
