Magnolia at Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

Magnolia, one of Disney's trio of championship courses near Lake Buena Vista, carries the unmistakable stamp of Joe Lee's early 1970s design ethos: generous fairways framed by mature trees, challenging water hazards, and meticulously manicured greens. The terrain is classic Florida parkland, relatively flat with strategic bunkering and, as the name suggests, an abundance of magnolia trees that add both beauty and a touch of strategic difficulty. The 18 holes demand accuracy with the driver and proper club selection.

Originally designed by Joe Lee, Magnolia has been a mainstay of the PGA Tour, playing host to the Walt Disney World Golf Classic for over four decades; now called the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic. The course favors a controlled ball flight and astute course management over brute power; with undulating greens that demand a deft touch.
