GLEANNLOCH PINES GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Spring, TX, USA
Designed by Jay Riviere

Loch at Gleannloch Pines is a testament to Texas golf, a playable parkland layout carved from the Champion Forest area’s dense pine forests. This course favors the golfer who can work the ball right-to-left off the tee – strategically placed doglegs and bunkering punish those who stubbornly stick to one shape. The greens are generally receptive, rewarding aggressive approaches, but subtle undulations demand a deft touch with the putter.
Designed in the late 20th century, the course eschews the grandiosity of some of its contemporaries, instead prioritizing a fair and enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels. While not on the rota of major championships, Loch has long held local amateur events for golfers in north Houston.
Beyond the golf, the club boasts a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Post-round gatherings often center around the club's popular menu, known for its burgers and patio environment for local golfers.
