CAMPO DE GOLF LITIBU
🇲🇽 Higuera Blanca, Nayarit, MX
Designed by Greg Norman

Campo de Golf Litibu occupies a dramatic coastal site along the Pacific in Nayarit, approximately 20 miles north of Puerto Vallarta near the small village of Higuera Blanca. Greg Norman designed the course to take advantage of the property's natural elevation changes and ocean views, routing holes through jungle-covered terrain that descends toward the coastline. The layout incorporates the region's tropical vegetation and rocky outcroppings, with several holes offering views across Banderas Bay.
The course features significant elevation variation, with holes climbing through the hillside jungle before dropping back toward sea level. Norman's design emphasizes strategic options from the tee and approach play that must account for both the topography and prevailing coastal winds. The routing includes holes that play along ridgelines and others that move through lower corridors framed by dense vegetation, creating variety in both visual character and shot requirements.
Litibu forms part of a residential development in an area of Nayarit that has seen considerable resort and golf growth over the past two decades. The region's climate allows for year-round play, though summer months bring higher temperatures and humidity typical of Mexico's Pacific coast. The course serves both resort guests and members, contributing to the expansion of golf options in the Riviera Nayarit area beyond the more established Puerto Vallarta market to the south.
