Legends at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa is where sun-drenched Southern California golf began its ascent in the late 1960s, a vibrant counterpoint to the game's more established East Coast bastions. La Costa's prestige was cemented when it became the long-time host of the Mercedes Championships (later the Accenture Match Play Championship and WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship). More recently, in 2024 it was the host of the NCAA Division 1 Championships.
