River Landing Golf Club's Landing course sits along the Northeast Cape Fear River in Wallace, North Carolina, a small town roughly midway between Wilmington and Jacksonville. Clyde Johnston, a North Carolina-based architect known for his work throughout the Carolinas, designed the course to take advantage of the property's natural riverfront setting and coastal plain topography. The routing incorporates wetlands, mature hardwoods, and stretches of river frontage that define the character of several holes.
