Golfclub Schloss Kressbach operates two courses on its property near Tübingen in the Swabian region of Baden-Württemberg. The Kleiner Schloss is the club's executive layout, designed by Reinhold Weishaupt to complement the longer championship course. The compact routing serves as both an introduction for newer players and a quick-play option for members, fitting into the rolling terrain that characterizes this part of southern Germany. The course takes advantage of the natural topography around the Schloss Kressbach estate, with elevation changes that add interest to the shorter holes. Weishaupt's design incorporates the wooded landscape and open meadow areas typical of the region, creating variety within the limited yardage. The executive format emphasizes approach play and short game skills rather than driving distance. The club's setting near Tübingen places it within reach of both the university city and the broader Stuttgart metropolitan area. The estate grounds provide a traditional German golf club atmosphere, where the schloss itself anchors the property's historical character. Members use the Kleiner Schloss for practice rounds, quick nine-hole loops, and as a teaching venue, while visitors often play it in combination with the main course to experience the full property.
