Great course, wind was swirling the day I played so made it more difficult than usual. Course was in good shape for late in the season.
Kiva Dunes is a hard course for me to rate. It ranks high on the must play list for Alabama, but in my opinion some of the other courses in the area were as good if not better. The course was in decent to good condition, but just didn't love it especially at the green fee price. Maybe it is me or maybe something was off on the day we played but everything was just "meh". Nothing overly memorable and holes seemed a bit repetitive as the round went on. Did we have fun sure, but not sure any in our group would say it is a must play or that we need to absolutely go back.
A great spot for a great golf course. Some holes are a bit underwhelming considering the property, but overall beautiful layout.
