JACKSONVILLE BEACH GOLF COURSE
🇺🇸 Jacksonville Beach, FL, USA
Designed by Bob Walker

Jacksonville Beach Golf Club offers a relaxed counterpoint to the area's more manicured, high-profile layouts. The course, woven into the fabric of Jacksonville Beach, is an unpretentious reminder of golf's accessible roots.
Originally designed in the mid-20th century, the course presents a classic, straightforward test. Its relatively flat terrain, typical of coastal Florida, favors accuracy and course management over raw power. Mature trees line many fairways, creating a sense of enclosure and adding subtle challenges on approach shots. While not considered a championship venue, the course has, over the years, been a proving ground for local talent and a welcoming haven for recreational players.
The club's appeal lies in its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to the community. This unpretentious nature extends to its modest clubhouse and casual dining, where the focus is on camaraderie and the enjoyment of a round well-played. It is a place where golf feels refreshingly authentic.
Reviews
Local gem, rounds can be either 3 hours or 5 hours. Green complexes are great and are generally in good condition Late spring / wet soil can be tough on the course, as the poa will take over before the sun bakes everything out. Very walkable. A good place to have fun
Great muni
I really enjoyed this course. The conditions were excellent given the amount of play they see.
