Island/Lake at Gordon Lakes Golf Club

Gordon Lakes Golf Club is a recreational facility steeped in the traditions of Fort Gordon, providing a respite and a challenge for military personnel and civilians alike. Island/Lake is one of two courses available at the facility.

Designed in the classic parkland style, Island/Lake meanders through the Georgia pines just a short distance from the clubhouse. While not exceptionally long, the course favors strategic play over brute power, rewarding accurate approaches to undulating greens. Many of the green complexes are slightly elevated. It is unknown the original architect.

While Island/Lake hasn't hosted any major professional championships, its significance lies in its role as a community hub and the place where members of the military and civilians come to enjoy a relaxing round of golf.
