Hope Island at Links Hope Island Golf

Hope Island Golf Club occupies a waterfront site on the Gold Coast of Queensland, approximately midway between Brisbane and the resort centers to the south. The course was designed by Peter Thomson, the five-time Open Championship winner who became one of Australia's most prolific golf architects, in collaboration with Michael Wolveridge. Opened in the early 1990s as part of a residential resort development, the layout takes advantage of the region's network of canals and waterways, with several holes playing along or across these features.

The routing incorporates water on more than half the holes, reflecting the canal-estate character of the broader Hope Island community.
