GULPH MILLS GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 King of Prussia, PA, USA
Designed by Donald Ross

Gulph Mills is where Philadelphia Main Line pedigree intertwines with sporting tradition. Carved into the rolling hills of King of Prussia, its parkland layout, originally conceived in the early 20th century, presents a strategic test where tree-lined fairways and subtly contoured greens favor thoughtful shot-making over brute force. Think gently rolling hills and tree lined fairways with a few dramatic elevation changes for good measure.
A.W. Tillinghast, a master of Golden Age design, is credited with Gulph Mills' original blueprint. Over the years, subtle enhancements have respected Tillinghast’s vision, ensuring the course maintains its classic character. Gulph Mills has hosted several regional and state competitions over the course of its history.
Beyond the course, Gulph Mills embodies the spirit of its surrounding community. While not a national championship venue, the club remains a cornerstone of Philadelphia golf, known for its unpretentious atmosphere, its strong local membership and the timeless allure of its classic design. The club, itself, is something of a museum, the members keenly aware of their treasure and its relevance.
