Guavaberry (Left Tees) at Guavaberry Golf & Country Club

Guavaberry Golf & Country Club sits in Juan Dolio along the southern coast of the Dominican Republic, approximately an hour east of Santo Domingo. Gary Player designed the course, which opened in the mid-1990s as part of a residential development overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The layout plays through rolling terrain characteristic of the region's coastal topography, with the routing incorporating elevation changes and natural vegetation native to the Dominican landscape.

The course features two distinct nines that offer different playing experiences. Several holes provide views of the Caribbean, while others move through interior corridors lined with tropical flora. The "Left Tees" designation indicates an alternate set of tee markers that adjust the course's length and playing angles, a common feature in Player designs that allows for varied routing configurations and different challenge levels.
