GRAND HAVEN GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Palm Coast, FL, USA
Designed by Jack Nicklaus

Grand Haven, nestled along Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Coast, is a testament to the enduring appeal of traditional Florida golf. Carved into the region's signature landscape, the course is more forgiving than most, providing golfers with the opportunity to grip it and rip it on many holes. The relatively flat terrain, populated by native pines and palmetto palms, is atypical of the area’s newer, more aggressively contoured courses; rewarding length off the tee.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course opened in 1998 and it favors those who can effectively shape the ball. It presents a strategic test, demanding thoughtful club selection and an understanding of the subtle coastal breezes. There have been no major architectural renovations but the conditions have been historically known as great due to the work of Superintendent Joseph Black, a local who has been the superintendent since day 1.
Grand Haven isn’t known for hosting big tournaments or being ranked among the nation’s elite, but it enjoys a solid reputation as a well-maintained, playable layout that appeals to a wide range of golfers in the Palm Coast area and as such, its membership is diverse, as are the ages of those who frequent the course. After a round, many members and guests alike frequent the bar, where they’re known to order a burger and a cold beer.
