Galt at Galt Country Club

Galt Country Club occupies rolling terrain along the Grand River in Cambridge, Ontario, a city formed in 1973 from the amalgamation of Galt, Preston, and Hespeler. The course was designed by Stanley Thompson, Canada's most celebrated golf architect, whose portfolio includes such nationally significant layouts as Jasper Park, Banff Springs, and Capilano. Thompson's work at Galt reflects his characteristic attention to natural landforms and strategic variety, routing holes across elevation changes that take advantage of the property's topography.
