FROSTY VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Danville, PA, USA
Designed by David Gordon

Frosty Valley Country Club, nestled in the rolling hills of central Pennsylvania, presents a traditional golfing experience steeped in local lore. The course, a mature parkland layout, unfolds across gently undulating terrain punctuated by mature trees and strategically placed water hazards. Known for its classic, tree-lined fairways, Frosty Valley rewards thoughtful play and precise shot-making, subtly favoring players who can shape the ball through doglegs and navigate the course's subtly contoured greens. The course is not notably prestigious, however the family-oriented membership is known for having a few good sticks.
Designed by Geoffrey Cornish, Frosty Valley has remained largely untouched since its inception, preserving the original intent of its architect. While it hasn't hosted major championships, the club regularly holds regional amateur events. It remains a well respected venue for top level competition throughout Pennsylvania.
More than just a golf club, Frosty Valley has cultivated a strong community around the game. Members take pride in the course’s well-maintained condition and the club's commitment to fostering a welcoming atmosphere. The Grill Room, a local favorite, is known for its excellent burgers, often cited as the best in the Danville area, making it a popular spot for post-round gatherings and community events.
