FIDDLERS ELBOW COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Bedminster, NJ, USA
Designed by Rees Jones
Forest at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club, nestled in the rolling hills of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, presents a unique challenge: a dramatic departure from the region's typical parkland layouts. Winding through dense woodlands and demanding strategic shot-making rather than brute power, Forest favors players who can navigate its demanding corridors. The course rewards precision and thoughtful club selection and those who can move the ball.
Designed by Hal Purdy, Forest offers a different golf experience. While its relative youth places it outside the realm of storied championship venues, the course fosters a strong sense of camaraderie among its members who appreciate its challenging design, well-manicured conditions, and the tranquility of its secluded setting.
The convivial 19th hole echoes with tales of triumphs and tribulations on the course, a gathering spot where members share a laugh and a meal after their round, a testament to the enduring spirit of golf and the friendships it cultivates.
Reviews
Forest definitely the best at FE. Conditions are spotty, but the layout is cool. A good mix of hilly/flat, uphill/downhill, long/short holes.
