FIRCREST GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Fircrest, WA, USA
Designed by Vernon Macan

Fircrest Golf Club, a cornerstone of the South Puget Sound golfing landscape, possesses a character steeped in Northwest tradition. Carved into gently rolling parkland just south of Tacoma, the course, while not considered a major championship venue, rewards strategic play over brute strength. Designed by A. Vernon Macan in the late 1920s, Fircrest exhibits the hallmarks of Golden Age architecture, with subtle contours and demanding green complexes. The course's appeal extends beyond the links; it serves as a social hub for its membership. Generations of families have honed their games and fostered lasting connections within its bounds. Fircrest maintains its local charm, serving as a testament to the enduring appeal of classic course design.
