Tumble Brook Country Club's Fazio/Park course represents an unusual collaboration in Connecticut golf design. George Fazio, who designed the club's original eighteen holes in the 1960s, established the routing across rolling terrain characteristic of the Hartford suburbs. Decades later, tour professional and course architect Mark McCumber was brought in to renovate and modernize the layout, creating what members now refer to as the Fazio/Park course—the name reflecting both its design lineage and its parkland character.

The course occupies gently rolling property in Bloomfield, a residential community just northwest of Hartford. The terrain provides natural elevation changes without severe slopes, and mature tree-lined corridors define most holes. The routing takes advantage of the topography to create variety in stance and approach angles, while the parkland setting offers a traditional New England club atmosphere with seasonal color and well-established landscaping.

Tumble Brook operates as a private country club serving the greater Hartford area. The facility includes a second nine-hole course and maintains the social and recreational traditions common to established Connecticut clubs. The Fazio/Park course serves as the primary championship layout for member competitions and represents a blend of mid-century design principles updated with contemporary conditioning standards and strategic elements introduced during McCumber's renovation work.
