Ewa Beach at Ewa Beach Golf Club

Ewa Beach Golf Club occupies land on the southwestern coast of Oahu, approximately twenty miles west of Waikiki in the residential community of Ewa Beach. Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright designed the course, which opened in the 1990s on relatively flat terrain characteristic of the leeward side of the island. The routing works across former agricultural land with views toward the Waianae Range to the west and occasional glimpses of the ocean. Nelson, a prolific Hawaii-based architect, has designed or renovated numerous courses across the islands, typically emphasizing playability for a range of skill levels while incorporating native landscaping where feasible.

Ewa Beach functions as a daily-fee facility serving the local community and military personnel from nearby Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The course provides a straightforward test in a setting defined more by accessibility and convenience than dramatic natural features, reflecting the practical demands of golf on Oahu's developing western corridor.
