NORWOOD HILLS COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 St. Louis, MO, USA
Designed by Wayne Stiles

East at Norwood Hills Country Club is where St. Louis golfing pedigree runs deep, a testament to enduring design within its rolling landscape just north of the city. Carved from classic Missouri parkland, its Golden Age bones provide ample fairway width that tempers into trickier approaches, often demanding adept iron play to navigate subtle green complexes and strategically placed bunkers.
Original architect William Langford, along with Theodore Moreau, left an indelible mark which has been respectfully updated throughout the years. The East course is not necessarily known for its championship pedigree, nor does it rest on reputation alone, but rather on the consistent challenge offered to its discerning membership. A true golfer’s course, it rewards intelligent play over sheer power.
Norwood Hills has long maintained a dedicated and engaged local membership, reflective of its understated character. And like any good golf club, it is known for its strong camaraderie, especially during Men's Invitational in August, one of the club's premier member events for over 80 years.
