DYE PRESERVE CLUB
🇺🇸 Jupiter, FL, USA
Designed by Pete Dye

The Dye Preserve is a Pete Dye design located in Jupiter, Florida, opened in the late 1990s as part of a residential community in northern Palm Beach County. The course occupies land that includes natural Florida scrubland and wetland areas, which Dye incorporated into a layout that emphasizes strategic shot-making over pure length. The routing takes advantage of the property's native vegetation and water features, creating a course that feels more secluded than many South Florida designs despite its proximity to developed areas.
Dye's design here includes many of his characteristic elements: railroad ties, pot bunkers, and greens with significant contour and false fronts. The course requires precision with approach shots, as many greens are elevated or protected by water and deep bunkering. Several holes play along or across wetland areas, demanding accurate tee shots to avoid penalty areas. The layout rewards players who can work the ball and think their way around the course rather than simply overpower it.
The Dye Preserve Club operates as a private equity club, serving the residential community and a limited membership. The course is less widely known than some of Dye's other Florida work, but it represents his design philosophy of creating challenging, thought-provoking golf on relatively compact acreage. The setting provides a quieter, more natural feel than many courses in the Jupiter area, with mature vegetation and wildlife typical of the region's preserved habitats.
Reviews
Elite spot not talked about enough in SFL. Probably 40 tour pros are members here and you can tell why when you see the facilities. The caddies are some sticks as well and most likely trying to play pro themselves. True golf club which is becoming more desired in the area.
Great Experience, with phenomenal service. Caddies have game too
This course is overshadowed because of the sheer volume of great clubs in the immediate area but I think it’s among the best. Conditioning is superb and it’s very quiet and secluded for a South Fl course. The clubhouse and lock rooms are fantastic, old school with modern amenities. In true Dye fashion you’ve gotta be able to hit all the shots to score well.
