The Diamond-Jade routing represents one of the alternate eighteen-hole combinations available at Discovery Bay, which operates as a twenty-seven-hole facility. This configuration blends holes from two of the three nine-hole loops, offering players variety in both topography and shot requirements. The course features the elevated tees and multi-tiered greens characteristic of Jones's work from this period, with fairways that often cant and roll according to the natural contours of the land.
