PRIMM VALLEY RESORT & CASINO
🇺🇸 Primm, NV, USA
Designed by Tom Fazio

The Desert Course at Primm Valley, carved from the Nevada landscape south of Las Vegas, presents a stark contrast to the city’s glitz, instead offering a demanding, visually arresting golf experience. Its challenges are not just about aesthetics, but rather a true test of desert golf acumen.
Designed by Tom Fazio, the Desert Course embodies a modern architectural approach, using the rugged terrain to dictate strategy. Wide fairways encourage aggressive tee shots, but errant approaches find their way into strategic bunkering or unforgiving desert scrub. Favoring those who can work the ball both ways, it's a thinking man's course where length is an advantage, but proper club selection is vital to scoring well on its undulating Bermuda greens.
While not a regular stop on any major tour, the Desert Course provides a stern test that has been enjoyed by many amateurs over the years. The resort is also known for its after-golf dining experience, especially their local style carne asada taco, a favorite of the locals.

Heard it’s closed thus the 5 ranking. At one time one of Vegas areas best. Shame it’s gone
