DALTON GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Dalton, GA, USA
Designed by Bill Boswell, Gary Player

Dalton Golf and Country Club, a stalwart of Georgia golf since its founding, presents a classic parkland experience just beyond the city. The course, routed through gently rolling terrain dotted with mature hardwoods, offers a traditional feel with subtly challenging green complexes.
Originally designed in 1967, the course has been lovingly maintained and gently updated, preserving its character while enhancing playability. While not hosting major championships, Dalton maintains a strong regional presence, hosting numerous state and local amateur events. Its layout favors strategic shot placement, rewarding those who can navigate the doglegs and subtle elevation changes with accuracy.
The club's membership reflects the close-knit community of Dalton, known for its prominent role in the flooring industry. After a round, many members can be found in the clubhouse, enjoying the club’s notable fried chicken—a local favorite and a post-round tradition.
