HILL COUNTRY GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 San Antonio, TX, USA
Designed by Arthur Hills

Creeks at Hill Country, nestled within the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort, embodies Texas golf hospitality with an accessible, resort-style experience. Designed in the late 1990s, the Arthur Hills design traverses the rolling Texas Hill Country terrain, trading dramatic elevation changes for strategic bunkering and subtly contoured greens. The course favors a strategic approach, with generous fairways that reward thoughtful placement over sheer power, and undulating greens that require a deft touch.
While it hasn't hosted major professional championships, the course enjoys popularity with resort guests and local golfers alike. Arthur Hills, known for his ability to craft playable yet challenging courses, maximized the natural beauty of the landscape, incorporating the namesake creeks into the design to create both visual appeal and strategic obstacles.
Its appeal lies in the relaxed atmosphere and playability. The Creeks course offers a respite, providing a comfortable and engaging round in a beautiful setting, rounded out by the amenities and service expected of a top-tier resort. A friendly bet among buddies, or a relaxed 18 after a conference is common here. After the round, the Antlers Lodge is a popular spot for drinks and the celebrated Texas fare, rounding out the Hill Country experience.
