CHEVY CHASE CLUB
🇺🇸 Chevy Chase, MD, USA
Designed by Donald Ross

Chevy Chase Club stands as a testament to enduring elegance, a sporting estate woven into the fabric of its namesake Maryland community. Its golf course, while perhaps not commanding national headlines, offers a distinctly private, subtly challenging experience within its prestigious enclave.
Crafted during the early 20th century, the parkland layout meanders gently across rolling terrain. Mature hardwoods frame tight fairways, rewarding strategic play over sheer distance. Subtle elevation changes and deceptively tricky greens demand a thoughtful approach, making it a shot makers course.
Donald Ross left his indelible mark on the original design, later refined over the years by lesser-known but no less impactful architects. The Club’s primary purpose has always been more focused on the social community with other amenities like, ice-skating, tennis, and skeet shooting all contributing to its family-centric appeal.
More than just a golf course, Chevy Chase Club represents a refined way of life, steeped in tradition and discreet luxury. The Club has always had notable, old money members and is located in one of the most affluent communities in the United States. While not known for any signature food item, the half way house is always stocked with the best snacks and beverages for members and their guests.
