Chechessee Creek Club is a wonderful place to experience. it epitomizes Carolina low country atmosphere, low key, laid back, enjoy yourself. the course is more sporty than challenging. Not long, but, still offers some issues off the tee. yUou ha e wosth to play, but mist choose correctly. the greens, are the showstopper. they are like a raised Wavy Lays potato chip. controlling you spin and distance is the key. a wonderful place to play and spend a day if in the area.
Very enjoyable lowcounty course. Good destination club with a focus on fun and golf. Has some stiff competition as it is often compared to Secession just a few miles away which will always take the crown with their views and allure. Ball striking and wedge accuracy is a premium here
Spent a few days at Chechessee last week (mid Dec). This was my first time there and it lived up to the hyper. Super laid back, very fun and perfectly maintained layout, awesome caddies, and creek tea.
Played it over 100x. Short course is coming which will be a welcome addition. Probably the most underrated set of par 3’s I can think of. The more you play it the more you come to appreciate it.
