THE GOLF CLUB AT CHAPEL RIDGE
🇺🇸 Pittsboro, NC, USA
Designed by Bob Moore, Fred Couples
Chapel Ridge, nestled in the rolling hills of Pittsboro, North Carolina, is a course that whispers of ambition. Carved from the Piedmont's distinctive red clay and mature hardwoods, the layout presents a contemporary challenge that favors strategic play over sheer power. It's a thinking man's course, where intelligent angles and careful club selection are rewarded, and where a well-placed fade can be invaluable.
Designed by Fred Couples and Gene Bates in 2007, Chapel Ridge is a modern interpretation of classic course design. Bates, with his meticulous attention to detail, is the driving force behind the course. While it has yet to host a major professional tournament, the course's challenging layout and pristine conditions have made it a popular venue for regional amateur events.
Chapel Ridge is a core course of the golf club, a place where friendly competition thrives. But, it's just as important to the membership here that there is access to the expansive pool, tennis courts, and well appointed clubhouse. This is a place for families, and golf is just one of the ways that their bonds are strengthened and supported.
