HARBOR LINKS GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Port Washington, NY, USA
Designed by Dana Fry, Dr. Michael Hurdzan

Harbor Links, carved into the bluffs of Port Washington, is a rare public testament to Golden Age sensibilities resurrected in the late 20th century. Dick Wilson's original design, lost to time, was reimagined by the Cornish, Silva, and Mungeam team, evoking a windswept, almost links-like character with its fescue-lined fairways and strategic bunkering. The course plays longer than its yardage suggests, with undulating greens that reward thoughtful approach shots and punish indecision, although its open nature is forgiving for the higher handicaps.
Harbor Links has been a consistent site for Metropolitan Golf Association events, showcasing the region’s top amateur talent. While it may not possess the storied history of its nearby private neighbors, it serves as a vital, accessible hub for competitive golf in the New York metropolitan area.
Beyond the course, Harbor Links is known locally for its diverse membership and accessible family atmosphere. The club, in keeping with its public status, provides the community with a gathering space that extends beyond the golf course itself. The restaurant on site is known locally for its delicious burgers and cold tap beer to pair with a round of
Reviews
Not a terrible golf course not really a great one either. The last hole has a giant net that impedes on the shot and its a local rule if you hit the net you get to re tee. Its to protect the houses but it absolutely kills the round its such a gimmick
