CYPRIAN KEYS GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Boylston, MA, USA
Designed by B. Silva, G. Cornish, M. Mungeam

Cyprian Keys Golf Club sits in the rolling terrain of central Massachusetts, roughly ten miles north of Worcester. The course represents a collaboration among three generations of New England golf architects: Geoffrey Cornish, Brian Silva, and Mark Mungeam. This lineage connects the project to Cornish's mid-century design philosophy while incorporating the more naturalistic shaping and strategic variety that Silva and Mungeam brought to their work in the 1990s and 2000s.
The layout occupies land that transitions between wooded corridors and open meadow, typical of the region's post-agricultural landscape. The routing takes advantage of moderate elevation changes, and several holes play across or alongside wetland areas that introduce both visual interest and strategic considerations off the tee. The design emphasizes width in the landing zones but tightens approaches, rewarding players who position drives thoughtfully. Greens feature subtle internal contours that reflect the architects' preference for ground-game options rather than purely aerial demands.
Cyprian Keys serves as a daily-fee facility, making it accessible to a broad range of golfers in the Worcester area. The course has hosted regional amateur events and qualifiers, contributing to the competitive golf scene in central Massachusetts. Its conditioning and playability have established it as a notable public-access option in a state where many well-regarded courses remain private.
Reviews
Good course, very tight and strategic
Most unique course I’ve played, only used driver like 5 times off the tee. You’ll use every club in your bag here and was a very fun round of golf.
