Reviews
This is such a “hidden gem” in Ohio. This place has the bones to be a major championship venue again. Unfortunately, it lacks the length to give the pros a challenge. However, from a patron standpoint, this would be an incredible host of a major championship. The course is in pristine condition. The layout is incredible. A true Donald Ross design to me. It was a treat to be able to play here. I hope to be back again soon!
Greens are pure, layout is great and the staff there are some of the kindest people out there. Every bunker at CCC is so well placed and the course punishes you in fun ways with classic Ross design. I never got to play the course pre-2018 renovation, but I will attest now that this place is one of the most enjoyable golf courses you will play in central Ohio. The course gets a fair amount of play so the fairways aren’t always in peak shape but in season this place is awesome. A total hidden gem
Bendelow design but seems to be most notably retouched by Donald Ross. A classy club that I have always known to be the most under appreciated course in the state. Underwent a large cleanse of trees almost a decade ago which has been very well received by players. I have always known the course to be challenging, pristine, and an all-around fun experience. With that said, I heard they were struggling with course conditions these past few weeks, but have no doubt they will return to their standard of greatness. The golf staff is as good as they come; they run a mean pro-shop too.
A truly solid community country club. It doesn’t back up to 7000 or have punishments to test tour players, but the design is intricate and the course is kept great. Columbus country club shows elements of true excellence and was a major championship venue before it became outdated
