BRYAN PARK GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Browns Summit, NC, USA
Designed by Rees Jones

Champions at Bryan Park isn't just a golf course; it's a public testament to Greensboro's enduring passion for the game, a challenging layout that has humbled and thrilled local players for decades. Built on rolling Piedmont terrain punctuated by mature hardwoods and meandering creeks, the course presents a classic parkland experience.
Originally designed by George Cobb, a renowned architect known for his strategic bunkering and green complexes, Bryan Park presents a formidable test for golfers of all skill levels. While lacking the length of modern championship courses, its undulating fairways and strategically placed hazards demand thoughtful shot-making and careful club selection. The back nine, in particular, features several demanding par-4s that reward accuracy over brute force, a reflection of Cobb's design philosophy.
While not a host to major championships, Bryan Park holds a special place in the hearts of Greensboro golfers, serving as a proving ground for aspiring players and a beloved gathering spot for weekend warriors. The club atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious, a place where camaraderie trumps competition and a post-round beverage on the patio is as important as the score. And while the course may not be nationally celebrated, within its local community it is revered as one of the areas top public golf offerings.
Reviews
Holes 10-15 are the best stretch in the United States of America for a course under $70. You cannot beat the value for this course, the greens a pristine, the Lake/Woods combo is such a treat. Unbelievable how this is still not a course that has exploded in rates and popularity
You would never believe this course is in Greensboro. Immaculate views right on the lake make this place a must play. Back 9 plays more tricky and you always want to be short going in to greens. You’re welcome
