BULLE ROCK GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Havre de Grace, MD, USA
Designed by Pete Dye
Bulle Rock stands as a testament to the ambition of championship golf, carved into the rolling Maryland terrain near the Chesapeake Bay. This modern links-style design, a Greg Norman signature, demands strategic play with its undulating fairways, fescue grasses, and challenging water hazards. It plays long and wide, and favors those who can shape the ball through the wind.
Bulle Rock etched its name in golfing history by hosting the LPGA Championship for five years, witnessing the triumphs of some of the game's greats. While the course isn't often mentioned among the giants of American golf, it's a formidable test that consistently garners respect among touring professionals.
Away from the course, members and guests often recount tales of Norman's hands-on involvement during construction, personally shaping many of the greens complexes. Today the course has settled into serving the regional players and guests who enjoy the challenge it provides. It remains a popular and important club in the area.
Reviews
Banger of a public from Pete Dye. Must play if driving on 95 through MD. Easy to get to and good value. Hard!
Great bang for your buc course. Very open, grass range is included in greens fee. Courses always well maintained and offers a variety of challenges. Easily the best public course I’ve played in Maryland. Staff friendly.
Loved this track, Dye style tough. Played a while ago wish I remember better. Was in fabulous condition when I played late summer 2024. Layout is challenging, tough rough
The easiest Pete Dye to get on, and it does NOT disappoint.
