Brookville Course
Old Brookville, NY, USA

Brookville Country Club, a sanctuary of Long Island golf, boasts a membership cultivated from the region's business elite and families whose roots run deep in its manicured fairways. Built in the early 1960s, the course is a classic example of post-war parkland design, routed across gently rolling terrain north of Glen Head. The course is characterized by its mature trees framing fairways and strategically placed bunkers guarding undulating greens. Expect tight approaches and a premium on strategic play rather than brute power. While not a regular on the major championship rota, Brookville provides a stern test of golf that has hosted several Met Area events over the years. The membership appreciates its challenging layout and the sense of tradition that permeates the club. Beyond the course, Brookville fosters a familial atmosphere that extends beyond the fairways. While club lore doesn’t necessarily focus on one particular food item, the members take great pride in the club's refined, yet relaxed, dining experience. The halfway house is known for it's overstuffed sandwiches that members commonly compare. It's a place where generations have shared post-round stories and cemented relationships, making Brookville more than just a golf club, but a local institution.

Really fun Raynor hidden gem. A few template holes, lightening fast greens. Could be up there but gets overshadowed by some of the greats along the north shore
