THE LINKS AT BODEGA HARBOUR
🇺🇸 Bodega Bay, CA, USA
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Bodega Harbour, clinging to the dramatic Sonoma coastline, is a testament to the enduring allure of links golf, even if its bite is more bark than snarl. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in the late 1970s, the course unfurls across rolling bluffs where gorse and wind-swept grasses define the landscape. Errant shots are punished less by unforgiving rough and more by the ever-present Pacific winds that demand strategic guile rather than brute force. Favors faders with the wind usually coming from the left.
The layout offers moments of both breathtaking beauty and subtle challenge. While Bodega Harbour has never hosted major championships, it remains a popular destination for Northern California golfers seeking a taste of coastal golf. The course is a regional treasure, cherished more for its accessibility and views than any pretense of championship pedigree.
Bodega Harbour's appeal lies in its unpretentious charm. This is a course where the salty air, the crashing waves, and the camaraderie of a weekend foursome take precedence over meticulous conditioning and exacting shot values. The golf club is a casual and inviting spot, making it a popular choice among local golfers and vacationers seeking a relaxing, coastal golf experience.
Reviews
foggy foggy foggy
A Northern Cal course with ocean views that no one talks about. Hard not to have a good day here. It gets windy really windy so don’t anticipate shooting your beast round here. Tough walk take a cart very hilly and exposed to wind.
