GLEN OAKS CLUB
🇺🇸 Old Westbury, NY, USA
Designed by Joe Finger

Glen Oaks Club is a Long Island institution that began with a vision to create a family oriented country club.
Nestled in the rolling hills of Old Westbury, the course, originally conceived by Joe Finger, presents a stern test of golf within a classic parkland setting. The course's generous fairways offer a welcome respite from the punishing rough, but errant approaches will find deep bunkers and challenging green complexes. Long considered a strategic course that favored power hitters, a recent renovation by Paul McGinley has modernized the course, allowing for a variety of styles to test the course.
Glen Oaks hosted The Barclays in 2017, marking the first FedEx Cup playoff event held on Long Island, won by Justin Thomas. While not consistently in the national conversation, the club's commitment to providing an exceptional experience for its members is at the heart of everything they do.
Membership at Glen Oaks offers a unique blend of tradition and contemporary sensibilities. It's not uncommon to find members discussing the latest in golf technology alongside tales of generations past. While the golf may be serious, the atmosphere is one of relaxed camaraderie, often punctuated by the sharing of the club's famed clam chowder.
