BLUE ASH GOLF COURSE
🇺🇸 Blue Ash, OH, USA
Designed by Jack Kidwell

Blue Ash Golf Course, in the heart of its namesake Ohio community, presents a classic municipal golf experience that many claim is the best public golf course in the state.
Carved from gently rolling, mature parkland, the course reflects a mid-century design sensibility, opened in 1963 and it presents a straightforward challenge. Wide fairways are balanced by tricky green complexes, rewarding strategic play more than raw power. Fairways are generous, but don’t expect perfectly flat lies on rolling hills. Bunkers are placed more for cosmetic value than to greatly impact your score, and the trees add a natural and subtle beauty to the surroundings, ensuring a serene round.
Designed by Bill Diddel, and with no major renovations of note, Blue Ash maintains a nostalgic charm for those who appreciate accessible, no-frills golf. While not a tournament venue of national prominence, Blue Ash is beloved by local leagues and weekend golfers and is known to be the best public course in the greater Cincinnati metropolitan area.
The relaxed atmosphere extends to the clubhouse, where stories are shared and rounds are replayed with a sense of camaraderie. Blue Ash offers an honest, unpretentious golf experience.
Reviews
Played golf at Sycamore High School personally love this course but it is tough for a public local course
Great track. Always in great shape. Super cheap too. Love it for public golf in cincy
Easily the best kept public course in the area. Could pass as a country club with better practice facilities. Fun layout with some really tricky greens with tons of different pin placement options can make a hole play different each time you play it. Amazing value
