Beaver Meadow, Concord's municipal jewel, offers a classic New England golfing experience steeped in local history. The course first opened in 1898 and has been at its current location since 1921, and boasts of being one of the oldest municipal courses in New England.
This largely tree-lined course displays a traditional parkland style. Originally designed by Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek, players will have to navigate the rolling fairways with strategically placed bunkers. Known to favor a draw, many holes dogleg to the left rewarding players who can shape their shots around the mature trees.
Beaver Meadow offers a challenging yet fair test for golfers of all skill levels, and is an integral part of the Concord community. The course is known for its affordability and accessibility, making it a popular destination for local golfers.
