TRUMP GOLF LINKS AT FERRY POINT
🇺🇸 Bronx, NY, USA
Designed by Jack Nicklaus
Bally's Golf Links at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point, a modern creation sculpted into the Bronx's coastal landscape, stands as a testament to ambition realized against the backdrop of the New York City skyline. The Arthur Jack Snyder design, completed with the Trump Organization's vision, presents a links-style experience markedly different from the region's established parkland courses.
The course, carved from a former landfill, offers dramatic undulations and meticulously crafted fescue grasses, emulating the feel of a seaside links. It favors players who can navigate the wind and strategically manage their game, with wide fairways often offset by penal bunkering and challenging green complexes. While visually striking, Ferry Point's manufactured terrain lacks the historical gravitas found in many of the Northeast's storied clubs.
Despite lacking a championship pedigree, Bally's Golf Links at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point offers public access to a high-end golfing experience rarely found so close to a major metropolitan center. The course, perhaps more than most, is a reminder that golf can exist even within the most challenging of urban environments, offering stunning views alongside a demanding layout.
Reviews
On the water so you expect some wind but this wind made it impossible to judge and I wouldnt judge a course based on this but the green were awful and did not hold when you hit them. The course is made hard for no reason takes the fun out of golf. Its a want to be links style golf but it is far from that. Facilities arent the best but the real reason for the poor score is the price absolute rip off.
Formerly Trump, now Bally’s
Not bad at all just way too expensive - only perk of the price is an easy tee time close to the city. Would play it a lot for half the price
Excellent links-style course in pristine shape. Tremendous practice facilities. Challenging and rewarding
Fun track with some serious challenges. We stopped in to grab a twilight rate and that price felt about the proper value, looking at the full rate I’m not sure you get what you pay for.
The best public course in NY. The only downside with this course is how expensive it is. So much fun to play and this is my first time playing a links course, very challenging and long par fours. Well, worth it for the facilities and great views of the city have to do it at least once.
