BALLAMOR GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Egg Harbor Township, NJ, USA
Designed by Brian Ault, Dan Schlegel, Tom Clark

Ballamor Golf Club sits in Egg Harbor Township in southern New Jersey's Atlantic County, a region where sandy soils and coastal plain topography have supported golf course development since the early twentieth century. The course was designed by Dan Schlegel, Tom Clark, and Brian Ault, a collaborative effort that reflects the modern trend of regional architects working together to create daily-fee facilities accessible to the broader golfing public in the greater Atlantic City area.
The routing takes advantage of the natural terrain common to this part of New Jersey, where gentle elevation changes and native vegetation provide definition without dramatic landforms. Courses in this area typically feature tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and water hazards that come into play on several holes. The design likely emphasizes playability for a range of skill levels while maintaining enough challenge to engage experienced golfers, a balance typical of contemporary public-access layouts in competitive markets.
Egg Harbor Township has grown as a residential and recreational community, and Ballamor serves both local members and visiting golfers drawn to the southern New Jersey shore region. The club offers the amenities expected of a modern facility, including practice areas and dining options that support regular play and group outings. Its location provides convenient access for golfers staying in nearby coastal towns or traveling through the Garden State Parkway corridor.
Reviews
Fair but challenging course. Faster greens than most public courses. Grass range, nice pro shop. Multiple fun and unique holes. On the pricier side but worth it. Not walkable due to holes being spread far apart.
Fun layout! A course hidden in the pines!
Criminally underrated if you can get over the price. Dope logo.
Very well maintained, course had a good variety of holes. Would come back and play again. Probably my favorite in the area
Should be better
