Audi at Hartl Resort

The Audi Course at Hartl Resort in Rotthalmünster, Bavaria, was designed by Bernhard Langer in collaboration with Kurt Rossknecht and opened in the early 2000s. Langer, Germany's most accomplished professional golfer and a two-time Masters champion, brought his competitive experience to this design in the rolling countryside of Lower Bavaria, not far from the Austrian border. The course reflects his preference for strategic shot-making and precise iron play, characteristics shaped by decades of tournament golf.

The layout occupies gently undulating terrain typical of the Bavarian lowlands, with mature trees framing many holes and water features coming into play on several. The routing takes advantage of natural elevation changes to create variety in stance and approach angles.
