The layout measures around 6,700 yards from the back tees, with multiple teeing grounds that allow members to adjust difficulty and distance to their preference. Arizona Traditions operates as a semi-private facility, primarily serving residents of the surrounding community while also welcoming outside play. The club functions as a social and recreational hub for the neighborhood, with dining facilities and event spaces complementing the golf amenities. Surprise has become known as a spring training home for Major League Baseball teams, and the area's golf courses benefit from the region's dry climate and year-round playing conditions, though summer heat limits peak-season play to cooler months.
