Almerimar at Golf Almerimar

Golf Almerimar sits on Spain's southeastern coast near El Ejido in Almería province, a region known for its arid climate and proximity to both the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Gádor mountains. The course was designed by Gary Player and Ron Kirby and reflects the desert-links character common to this part of Andalucía, where sparse vegetation and firm ground conditions prevail much of the year.

The layout occupies relatively flat terrain with strategic bunkering and water features that come into play on several holes.
