William Hull

William Hull was an American golf course architect active in the Mountain West and Intermountain regions during the late 20th and early 21st centuries. His portfolio reflects a focus on courses in smaller markets and resort destinations across states including Utah, Montana, Arizona, and Wyoming.

Among his designs, Valley View Golf Course in Layton, Utah, serves as a municipal facility north of Salt Lake City. In Montana, Hull created the 27-hole Eagle Bend Golf Club in Bigfork, configured as three nine-hole loops (Bear, Eagle, and Osprey) that can be combined into different 18-hole routings. His work also includes the Palms Golf Club in Littlefield, Arizona, and Rendezvous Meadows in Pinedale, Wyoming, a course set in a high-elevation mountain valley.

Hull's designs are characterized by their adaptation to the varied topography and climates of the interior West, from high desert landscapes to alpine settings. His courses typically serve community and regional play rather than national tournament venues.
