Steve Wolfard

Steve Wolfard is a golf course architect whose work spans public and resort courses across the central United States. He has collaborated with D. A. Weibring on several notable projects, including the 2004 renovation of Cedar Crest Golf Course in Dallas, Texas—a historic A. W. Tillinghast design that hosted the 1927 PGA Championship. This restoration work helped preserve one of American golf's storied venues while updating it for contemporary play.

Wolfard's original designs in Course Vaults include multiple courses at Winstar Golf Course in Oklahoma (Redbud, Scissortail, and the South/West routing), as well as Shoal Creek in Kansas City, Missouri, and Metamora Fields in Illinois. He also designed the Highlands course at Tenison Park in Dallas. His portfolio demonstrates a focus on accessible, well-regarded daily-fee and municipal facilities that serve regional golf communities.
